This novel falls into the 'unputdownable' category. Although fictional the characters come to life. I particularly liked the ongoing relationship of both main characters Gary and Quentin and the incredible ending left me wanting more. I can highly recommend this novel.

HAND OF THE BEAST
This is Stuart's second book like his first All Time Lowe, it is a psychological supernatural thriller.
The story is centred around the troubled Danny. An orphan traumatised by an abusive childhood he struggles to deal with life. His adoptive parents help him navigate his way through into adulthood but it is a chance meeting with a Goth girl that changes his life completely.
The police after discovering two murders, quickly find they are on the trail of a serial killer responsible for many more deaths.
A twisty journey of a book a really good read, five stars from me.

THE GREEN HORSE
Having read the author's two previous novels, I was looking forward eagerly to starting the new one and was not disappointed. This gripped me from start to end. The chief characters are drawn with such warmth and care that the reader can thoroughly empathise with them at once and the descriptive writing shows just how much the author continues to develop. The time flashbacks are brought in carefully without jarring and the description of heaven towards the end of the novel makes me long to go there when my time comes! I look forward to novel no 4 when time permits. In a nutshell, warmly recommended.
